Starting a quick/peek episode of some fun facts around Girard-Perregaux watches you may not know about. I’ll post them in series but not sure how many it will be in the end.
Today we start with the Girard-Perregaux 1966 Annual Calendar Equation of Time and some interesting mechanical fact. Did you know, that the Annual Calendar mechanism here can be set with a single crown position? There are no correction pushers needed. Furthermore, you can set the calendar not only forward but also backwards. Whenever I take it out of the box and set the time, it is a true pleasure how fast and uncomplicated the correct date is set.
