wristshot: Girard-Perregaux Vintage 1945, Ref. 2593

I’m a huge admirer of the GP Vintage 45, especially the first iteration either with manual wind (2595) or the automatic (2593 and 2594) models. When they then also come in precious metal, they are very special, like this 2593 in White Gold. The White Gold in the watches of the 90s had a much warmer hue than later white gold watches and combined with the warm egg-shell dial it hits it out of the park. Combined with this linen colour smooth calf strap, I think I found a new favourite combo for this watch.

By the way, the first automatic Vintage 1945s had the Caliber GP3000, the first iteration of the in-house GP caliber from the 90s as we just discussed the new Caliber GP4800.
