Let’s share quickly a pic and some words about the GP Sea Hawk I, Ref 7100, first series, here with the quite rarely seen cream dial. What makes the first series stand out is the bezel from sapphire glas, giving it a great shine, but also means that most of them had been smashed over the years and often been replaced with the 2nd series aluminum bezel. Not here, still in perfect shape.
In the background you have the catalogue from that period, in this case around the 200 year anniversary, so 1991. While the tag line have changed so many times over the years, I think the “Horloger par vocation” is likely the least sticky ever used. Anyhow, I love that special creamy dial of my Sea Hawk 7100 with the wonderful dark creamy patina of the Tritium. Now also with a new creamy coloured strap.
