I must apologise. In my previous post on the Richeville 2520, I mentioned the Girard-Perregaux Tank watch, Reference 2532 as an example of rectangular watches from the 90s and I encouraged the reader to search my Blog for more details. If you would have tried to search, you would have realised there is nothing. It seems I never posted about the 2532, so time to do a quick/peek at this reference.
The Tank 2532 dates back to the early 90s and is not often seen anymore. It has an obvious resemblance of the Cartier Tank Americaine. There is a manual wind movement beating inside the solid gold case and there have been two-hander versions as well as with small seconds. Apologies for the oversight.
