Recently I was able to find a second Girard-Perregaux Olimpico Chronograph 9075 AF. This one is in absolutely perfect condition, so I could not resist.
The Olimpico 9075 AF comes with the manual wind Caliber GP 07, based on an Excelsior Park. It has in my book one of the best looking vintage Chronographs, I think the colours really is what makes this one stand out.
There is still a debate among people if this Olimpico belongs to 1968, 1972 or 1976 Olympics. I think we can rule out 1968 as the 8846 and 8862 are confirmed for that year. I think it is most likely that 9075 AF is closer to 1972 than 1976.
