Busy times at the moment not allowing me to write much on the Blog, but let me share a fresh picture of my Girard-Perregaux 1960s Alarm, Ref. 7742. The GP Alarm watches are all based on A. Schild movements and what puts them a bit apart from the competition is the arched alarm window instead of an alarm arrow hand or a rotating inner disc as we know them from the JLC Memovox. A moderate case size of 33mm but cherry on the cake is the blue accent on the alarm disc. A nice little vintage watch with a lot of charm.
