wristshot: Girard-Perregaux Railtimer

Wristshot, 28th February: In the mid 1960s, high frequency watches were the engineering solution for achieving higher accuracy and Girard-Perregaux was one of the pioneers. Its automatic Caliber 32A exceeded all expectations at the Neuchatel Observatory certifications. However, even earlier, GP had a manual wind high frequency caliber and a very special Reference is the 8856 Chronometer HF with Railtimer dial, commissioned to the Canadian Railway. It was the first GP caliber with a stop-second mechanism for accurate time setting.
