Wristshot, 27th August: while being super busy at work and on the road, here is a quick Wristshot of my Girard-Perregaux Deep Diver 9108. The model is from the early 70s, maybe some were already made in 69. It was the first Deep Diver with an inner rotating bezel operated by a second crown.
It also featured a mineral glass instead of a plexi. Many years later, today we know that the plexi is easier to replace and can be polished while scratches on those mineral glasses are often a challenge. Mine was quite scratched, original replacement no longer available and when serviced the scratched glass just broke into pieces, but luckily my watchmaker was able to source a fitting replacement.
